Barry Callebaut is launching a global business process optimization program with the aim to fundamentally improve how we interact with our customers. In order to deliver on this program, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager responsible for transformational program change management, as well as process optimization, of transactions linked to global/regional processes and linked reporting in specific process and functional areas (manage scoping, design and implementation).


 


The role is responsible for delivering the benefits related to the program in his/her specific area. Key objectives are to drive change and  adoption of organizational changes and improved processes in the regions/sites and ensure alignment with IM/IT to ensure that those processes get supported by user friendly tools.  The role will also manage a project team to support the requirements of his/her functional area, act as gatekeeper of major organizational and process changes, provide input to the process/project portfolio of the program within his/her process/functional area and document and maintain organizational and process descriptions and training documentation.


 


Key tasks and responsibilities will include:



  • Manage the project portfolio in your area of responsibility

  • Define and Ensure delivery of the business case

  • Align convergent views within BC around your area of responsibilities

  • Drive the individual projects forward in your area of responsibility

  • Manage the relationship with IM/IT in your area of responsibility

  • Align with key stakeholders (Exco -1/2)

  • Help prepare steerco updates


 


The ideal candidate should bring: 



  • Masters or similar education in economics, engineering, or other

  • 5+ years experience in project management 

  • Preferably consultancy background

  • English speaking, but preferably fluent in one or more other languages spoken in the BC world

  • Good understanding of processes and process improvement projects

  • Experience in aligning with and driving forward systems improvements

  • Strong communication skills/outspoken

  • Structured, determined and willing to go the extra mile

  • Flexible to travel
