Its goals are the reintegration and long-term and sustainable improvement of the quality of life of patients with spine disorders or spinal cord injuries. As a subsidiary of the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation, we play a key role in shaping the unique network of services for people with spinal cord injuries.



To complement the team of the SwiSCI Study Center, we are presently looking for a



RESEARCH ASSISTANT (80%)



The research assistant will be responsible for the coordination, implementation and quality control of data collection, as part of the SwiSCI study. Hence the candidate is responsible for the daily communication be-tween the study center and collaborating rehabilitation centers for SCI in Switzerland. The study center at SPF provides a stimulating working environment, consisting of an international and multidisciplinary team of researchers.

  • Preparation and conduct of the data collection in SwiSCI



  • Preparation of operational issues in SwiSCI



  • Coordination of the data collection within the cooperating clinics for all SwiSCI projects



  • Training of research assistants



  • Data quality control



  • Health professional (e.g. Physiotherapist, Occupational therapist, Nurse) with a Master degree and clinical experience



  • 2-3 years professional experience required



  • Experience with clinical studies is an asset



  • Excellent German and English language skills; French is an asset



  • Statistical skills



  • Strong organizational and communication skills



  • Ability to work in a team

The position is for 3 years with the possibility of extension, starting from 1st March 2019.
