Senior Network Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer for our offices in Bern, Switzerland. This is a senior level Networking engineer with 7-10 years of working experience with identifying and defining requirements, designing, developing, installing, configuring, testing, and implementing information systems technology solutions to large/medium-scale enterprise environments.

• Member of a global team with responsibilities in design and implementation of Cisco LAN/WLAN infrastructure

• Provides technical and procedural guidelines, directions consistency within the team focused on the implementation, service delivery and support of products, systems & networks.

• Creates and maintains detailed documentation and procedures of the network (WLAN/LAN/WAN) environment in all aspects of its utilization; ensures associates work in compliance with the documented procedures.

• Leads incident management calls and provide analysis and clarity leading to service restoration – workarounds and resolution.

• Responsible for gathering/coordinating resources from other technology teams when necessary to complete project deadlines.

Qualifications/experience & Certifications:

• Successful completion of any IT related education


• 7-10 years of relevant work experience.


• Strong Routing & switching skills


• Cisco IOS & Nexus switches and routers


• Data center including ACI and campus networks (LAN/WLAN)


• Firewalls – Cisco ASA, Palo Alto (Nice to have - if not, trainings will be provided)


• Meraki and CCIE (Nice to have)


• Business level fluency in German and English.


• Strong business orientation and prioritization skills.


• Analytical and detail oriented.


• Excellent written and verbal communications.


• Independent-thinker and self-starter, who still can work well within team environment.


• Self-directed, works with minimal supervision.


• Ability to communicate succinctly at all levels of the organization from front line engineers to senior management.
