• Review and critically analyze data from the project, identify complex problems and create innovative solutions (e.g. design and implementation of models) to enable the team to progress the project

• Broaden drug discovery understanding (e.g. chemical biology, analytics, CADD, synthetic technologies)

• Perform own experimental work related to project objectives. Fully responsible for adherence to Novartis global standards (e.g. quality, safety, data security)

• Key skills: Data Science, Machine Learning, Scientific Software Engineering, Web Development, Statistics • Build a feedback culture by providing frequent constructive feedback to people you regularly interact with. Seek, listen to and act upon feedback • Apply and share with others, latest developments in methods, technologies, and concepts within your area of expertise

• Contribute to the maintenance of state of the art skills, facilities and infrastructure (e.g. evaluation and implementation of new technologies) • Record and organise results to enable others to use the work.

• Share scientific topics and lessons learned in internal and external meetings and through publications

• comply with HS&E in compliance with Novartis and other regulatory guidelines
