Product & Supply Chain Management organization (PTS) connects different parts of Roche to ensure reliable supply of our innovative medicines to customers and patients. The group ensures reliable supply to patients worldwide, connecting their needs to the Roche Pharma Global Supply Network. This network consists of Roche manufacturing sites, contract manufacturers and external suppliers. Lastly, PTS develops and implements product strategies as well as designs and optimizes full supply chains starting with raw materials until final product throughout the entire product life-cycle.

In this role, you will be a member of the PTS organization and as such you will actively contribute to the realization of its overall purpose by executing the approved working procedures.

Your particular functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following key responsibilities:

• Ensure reliable and efficient execution of the order, distribution and logistics processes


• Enforce functional integrity and technical compliance of core business systems


• Analyze system processes and standards to identify areas for improvement


• Develop and implement system related functionalities, data definitions and workflows


• Identify and contribute to the implementation of digital platforms across the Supply Chain organization that will impact operational efficiencies.


• Contribute to the shaping and harmonization of the PTS processes across departments.


• Perform user acceptance tests for new or changed functionalities in Roche systems or interfaces – either implemented as part of a project deployment or Enhancement release cycle.


• Act as subject matter expert for order, distribution and logistics processes and partner with System Communities to align design of best system practices


• Participates in Projects as subject matter expert or work stream lead in Projects related to to improve the overall supply-chain management functions and performance


• Train selected key-users on system functionalities, standards and best-practice


• Support and contribute to realization of department purpose, objectives and strategy development

To be successful in this position, you bring the following skills and experience:

• Bachelor or equivalent degree in computer science or supply chain


• Several years of work experience as system expert in logistics and supply chain, ideally in pharma environment


• Excellent IT and systems knowledge


• Experience in project management; excellent analytical skills


• Ability to build effective relationships, lead in a matrix and work in a global organization


• Fluent in English, additional languages are an asset
