Reporting to the Head of Global Operations Controlling, you drive the foundation for better insights and decision-making support.  With a pro-active and hands-on attitude, you partner with Global Operations Leadership in establishing the financial/analytical frameworks to inform strategic and tactical approaches, which will help optimize manufacturing, direct procurement and global supply chain across the diagnostics businesses. Communication to Senior Management needs to be effective and accurate.  Other responsibilities include Finance leadership team support, driving financial business case assessments, target setting, budget presentation, project work, product costing support as well as ad-hoc analysis.

The advertised position offers:

• Manages overall CAPEX process and optimal resource allocation in line with Global Operations strategy


• Manages target setting and business planning process across Global Operations


• Performs monthly variance analyses and report significant issues to management


• Performs ad-hoc financial analysis and provides recommendations to management in support of business objectives


• Partner within Global Operations Finance to identify, challenge and drive best practices


• Participate in and roll-out group, division, and operations finance projects or initiatives as required


• Excellent platform with senior management visibility

To be successful in this role you fulfill the following criteria:

• University Degree or equivalent


• 2– 5 years of Finance or Controlling experience


• Knowledge of SAP and reporting tools, advanced in Excel and PowerPoint required


• Excellent interpersonal skills being able to interface with different levels of seniority


• A combination of strong communication, both written and oral, and organization skills 


• Fluent in English, German is an advantage
