"About the Role"


 


As a Junior Originator Food & Agriculture you will



  • contribute to developing business targets and solutions in the assigned EMEA markets within the defined agro market strategy

  • assist in developing our target client base in defined EMEA countries; conduct research on market developments and policies

  • follow-up with clients under the leadership of a senior agro originator

  • support structuring and implementing projects and strategic partnerships in the defined EMEA markets

  • help improve marketing material and organize events when required

  • assist to prepare and complete submissions to agro underwriting

  • provide support with AML/ITC/CDD checks and perform other day-to-day tasks on as needed basis


 


"About the Team"


 


Being a part of EMEA Sales, the Food & Agro Business Origination develops, structures and sells risk transfer solutions to corporations across the agribusiness supply chain. Our clients are mainly input suppliers, corporate farming operations, logistic companies, processors and banks. We are looking for a Zurich-based Intern to assist our team to further expand our business working under the supervision of the Head of Food and Agriculture Business Origination EMEA and in close coordination with other agro originators, local sales teams, underwriters and other colleagues as required. "About You"


 



  • You hold a Bachelor or Master in science, agriculture, economics or agronomy

  • Strong excel and power point skills

  • You provide excellent analytical skills and real passion for agricultural business

  • Excellent oral and written English, other languages like French, German are a plus

  • You are a great teammate who naturally brings individuals together as needed, across countries and functions

  • Reliable, creative and enthusiastic

  • You deliver high quality work also under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • You have a deep understanding of statistics


 


Duration of internship: 4-6 months, starting February 2019
