Java (Salesforce) Engineer- Optimisers Team


The Crowdhouse team in Zurich is growing rapidly, and we are looking for a Java Developer who has a high interest in becoming a Salesforce Developer or already working as such. Your experience will help us to make our processes more efficient so we will be able to improve and maintain our CRM/ERP systems fast and in high quality. Our internal stakeholders are the main focus


Responsibilities


We admire candidates who want to make a strong engineering impact on every part of the project, therefore, you will:



  • Contribute to the business grow with your Salesforce skillset to the development of the SF System

  • Integrate your skills with other product developers and look over the best collaboration

  • Follow and improve quality guidelines and co-produce high-quality products

  • Help other disciplines outside of own expertise if needed

  • Flag risks and blockages during product development and actively work solving Blockers

  • Communicate well and align with other teams


Skills and qualifications


We are hiring at multiple levels so whether you are experienced with Salesforce or have some experience with Java or Apex then we would love to hear from you!



  • Experience working with JAVA and/or Apex + Visualforce

  • High interest in becoming a Salesforce Developer or already working as such

  • Proficient in SQL (SOQL, SOSL)

  • Solid Software Engineering and API Design skills

  • Advanced knowledge of SOAP-based and RESTful APIs

  • Track Record of successfully delivered Software projects

  • Preference for Test Driven Development

  • Solid understanding of testing principles and CI/CD pipelines

  • Knowledge of data flows within the major tool landscape and considers the impact of changes („raises flag”)

  • Experienced in Object Oriented Programming

  • Salesforce Certification for Developer and/or Administrator preferred

  • Ability to work towards a goal independently

  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Working experience with cross-functional teams and agile methodologies

  • Open, honest, performance oriented

  • Fluent in English


Your team


We have 3 product squads, 1 platform squad, 1 innovation squad and a Salesforce squad (The Optimisers). You will join our Optimisers Team (two salesforce admins, one salesforce developer, one Business Process automation expert) and work closely with our Product teams. You will get the chance to transform the company into a buying and selling engine, be involved in meetings about technical features and drive the sync between the different products and SF runs smoothly.
