What it's about


In this position you will be part of the Investment Valuation Services team which is responsible for the investment monitoring and valuation process across our private equity, private debt, private infrastructure and private real estate investments. You will:


 



  • Further shape our daily, monthly, quarterly and annual investment monitoring and valuation processes together with our sub-team heads

  • Take on responsibility for projects related to the improvement of existing and development of new investment monitoring and valuation tools/procedures in order to cope with new regulatory requirements and master challenges related to valuations in the private equity industry

  • Support and lead operational projects spanning across different business units and departments

  • Prepare and review reports/presentations on investment valuation and performance ensuring highest quality

  • Interact with various teams within Partners Group (Investment teams, Accounting, Reporting, Business Applications etc.) as well as with external parties (3rd party valuation firms, service providers, auditors, etc.) on accounting, monitoring and valuation related topics


What we expect


We are looking for a person who works well in a highly entrepreneurial organization, someone who is a self-starter and possesses strong people and organizational skills. The successful candidate should have the following profile:


 



  • University degree, with emphasis on Business Management, Accounting and/or Finance

  • Ideally 3-6 years work experience in the financial industry (preferably within the area of advisory, accounting, auditing, controlling or valuation) and a strong desire to learn and succeed

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication, able to engage and motivate others across all levels of seniority

  • A self-directed person, able to manage effectively and complete tasks within demanding timelines despite competing priorities

  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently

  • Excellent English language skills are required as well as MS-Office knowledge
