What you achieve

Swisscom IT Services Finance Custom Solutions provides specialized IT services to banks and financial service organizations in Switzerland. You conceptualise, develop and multi-tier solutions for Swiss Custody and Tax related services. Furthermore, you analyse business demands, evaluate cost and benefits, suggest IT solutions and develop models for the Corporate Actions and related Tax Reclaim domain. As a senior team member, you oversee what is going on, review processes and take necessary measures. You work with different methodologies (waterfall, agile) and end-to-end testing procedures. Your experience enables you to communicate successfully with geographically dispersed application development and testing teams. You achieve high targets and deliver excellent products and services to satisfy the management and customers.

Why you succeed



  • Master's degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in computer science, engineering or information technology

  • At least 10 years of specialised work experience in the requested area

  • Know-how in developing program specifications and data models for complex system implementations

  • In-depth knowledge of the interfaces to the Swiss "SECOM clearing and settlement platform" incl. SIX Proprietary AI/NI Communication Protocols

  • Knowledge in Corporate Actions incl. market standards (SWIFT ISO-15022, XML based ISO-20022, FIX 4.2) and SIX Tax Services (German Tax Voucher, Position Marking / De-Marking, Reclaim)

  • Ability to independently undertake and lead development activities, among others with: Java/J2EE, SCORE, XLS/XSLT technologies, JCA/JCE, open-source security frameworks, Message Authentication Code (MAC) algorithms, SOAP based web services, 2WaySSL, HTTPS, JBoss, Oracle RDMS, iSeries, Linux OS, Eclipse, GIT/SVN, Jenkins, Confluence, Jira

  • Fluency in written and spoken English, German a plus
