Ingredients Production Manager – Your future position?
As Ingredients Production Manager based in Vernier, you will be responsible for a chemical manufacturing unit of intermediate or finished ingredient fragrances products, following high internal standards. Reporting directly to the Head of Ingredients Production, you will be managing the Ingredients Production unit team and will be driving improvements towards higher performance.
In this exciting role, your key tasks will encompass:
Production management: you will be responsible for organizing and supervising the production program to ensure an efficient manufacturing process for each product, following deadlines and high safety, quality and service standards. Your role will also be essential to monitor costs and ensure compliance with the budget, as well analyze the productivity and yield of the product portfolio you are responsible for, and adjust accordingly production recipes and master data. You will ensure standard operation procedures are continuously updated, you will evaluate product and process related issues concerning raw material, process chemistry as well as equipment troubleshooting and validation, and finally you will review process safety risk analysis on the different materials you are responsible for.
Continuous Improvement: You will actively contribute to development initiatives such as those required to improve process understanding, process control and process capability. You will also be in charge of implementing improvement plans to maintain cost competitiveness. You will propose necessary capacity improvements and investments to fulfill demand evolution. Finally, you will recommend and elaborate improvements in analytical equipment, procedures and techniques.
Project management: You will manage and track project progress including monitoring timelines, raw materials, equipment availability and yields.
People Management: You will be leading a team of 30 – 40 employees. You will support employee involvement in safety, analytical problem solving and lean initiatives. You will ensure full compliance with Givaudan EHS principles, quality and legal requirements and be a safety leader in your daily work. Finally, you foster a teamwork atmosphere and will drive the development of identified talents.
