Gautschi Engineering GmbH is one of the market leaders in casthouse and heat treatment equipment for the worldwide aluminum industry. With locations in Switzerland, Germany and China, the company has 60 employees and is part of a family-owned group of companies with around 1,000 employees worldwide. Our customers include major international company groups.

To further strengthen our sales activities at our headquarters in Berg TG/Switzerland (20 minutes from Constance/GER) and to start as soon as possible, we are looking for a

Sales Manager (m/f)

Job description

• Continually monitoring the market, you will identify potential within the industry, be involved in price management and identify relevant success drivers in the product range


• You will analyze the market and keep track of industry-specific developments


• You will represent the company when communicating with customers


• Cost calculation of plant equipment based on the quantity data provided by the product manager


• Working together with the specialist departments in-house, you will compile technical and commercial offers


• You will follow up offers and lead negotiations with the customer


• Ongoing negotiations for changes influencing costs after the order has been placed


• Acquisition of new customers


• Representing the company at trade fairs and other marketing events

Job requirement profile

• Completed technical training (university/technical university, engineering college, or similar)


• Several years experience in sales for a plant engineering business, experience in the aluminum industry and with cast houses an advantage


• Ability to negotiate in English


• Precise and able to work independently, highly motivated and results driven, enthusiastic


• Outstanding social skills, especially with a view to teamwork


• Keen to build contacts, customer oriented, good communication skills and professional attitude


• Excellent negotiator


• Prepared to travel internationally
