Your mission :
Assist the International Risk Governance Center (IRGC, irgc.epfl.ch) a multidisciplinary unit of EPFL that acts at the interface of research and policy/practice. IRGC's mission at EPFL is to improve the governance of risks marked by complexity, uncertainty and ambiguity, and in particular those involved in the development of new technologies. Main duties and responsibilities include :
Administrative management of research and administrative staff.
Administrative management of unit’s budget and grants (planning and reporting) and invoices.
Administrative support for meetings at EPFL and elsewhere (room booking, catering, agenda editing and formatting).
General organisation of the unit: ordering, invoices, supplies, materials, travels, “notes de frais”).
Copy-editing, formatting and translation of miscellaneous documents in F/E.
Your profile :
Dynamic and proactive person, with an exceptional sense of responsibility and precision, interested to work in an international environment. The candidate will attest excellent organizational skills and be capable of working autonomously while ensuring a smooth and efficient teamwork.
CFC d'employé(e) de commerce or Bachelor's degree, ideally with experience at EPFL but not limited to this.
Very good experience with accounting; EPFL accounting, Infocentre would be an asset.
Administrative experience of EU research projects in H2020.
Multi-tasking person with positive and proactive attitude, able to anticipate, set and respect deadlines.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PP) and Outlook.
Fluent English, written and spoken.
