Learning Science Specialist (70%)
Your mission :
EPFL is enhancing the learning experience of its students with interactive notebooks, remote experiments, automatic graders and simulations. We are looking for a versatile learning scientist with a background in science or engineering to support the course teams in the development, deployment and evaluation of digital resources in teaching. Main duties and responsibilities include :
Support course teams in developing digital resources for teaching and learning.
Evaluate the impact of innovations. Plan and conduct evaluations in collaboration with teachers.
Analyze and document the use of digital resources in class.
Collaborate with technical teams to identify requirements for distribution services.
Gather and share best practice within the community of innovators in education.
Your profile :
Initial training in science or engineering fields.
Experience with pedagogical advice and consulting.
Experience with empirical evaluation of innovations in the field.
Experience with interactive notebooks (Jupyter Notebooks) a plus
Fluent English and French
