The Specialist, Master Data Management, is part of the EMEA Supply Planning Execution team and supports all requirements to ensure accurate, timely and compliant Master data creation, maintenance and related activities in SAP ECC and SAP APO. The Master Data Management team performs various checks, analyses and interacts with stakeholders across all Supply chain functions & other work streams such as Finance, Procurement, etc. Continuous improvement and end-to-end thinking to support the business is an inherent part of this role.

Essential function(s) include:



  • Right First Time Code creation/ change/ extension including all pre-checks - evaluation of correct parameters and data sets to raise a compliant and error free APPIAN request and set-up of related data such as BOM, Source lists, T-lanes, etc., in SAP ECC and SAP APO

  • Provide SCM Data support for projects: for e.g.: source changes/network changes/ Darwin/ COMET go-lives

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date master data for assigned business process, ensure timely updates & eliminate duplicate/dormant, records

  • Monitor data, analyze reports and track specific activity to ensure records are synchronized, accurate & complete. Act to resolve data quality issues and discrepancies

  • Perform pro-active data accuracy checks to identify areas of improvement

  • Monitor the status of APPIAN requests & ensure timely approval & execution

  • Interpret requests and determine appropriate course of action or obtain additional clarification, if necessary

  • Use the global data standards to enter data into the system and when necessary apply country-specific and plant-specific data standards

  • Address all client inquiries, including, but not limited to own process

  • Responsible for data integration and linking data when necessary

  • Analyze data feeds and reconcile reports which are critical to daily operations & drive data accuracy

Primary activities include, but are not limited to:



  • Core Responsibility: Master Data maintenance and code creation

  • Understanding the financial supply chain and related patterns

  • Generate, review and maintain supply and demand information data to support SCM, Customers and Supply Operations activities

  • Accurate creation of new codes to support business and various projects

  • Coding processes, distribution and maintenance of master data information to internal and external customers

  • Use reports and KPI to review, update and improve SCM data quality in all required business systems as COMET ECC and APO, Rapid Response and support in mass changes

  • Analyze & amend supply chain information to ensure data accuracy and perform regular data cleansing

  • Centralized gatekeeper and owner of all SCM SAP Master Data , quality related business requests in the EMEA region: for example RCT (Registered Country Table, requests from all EMEA Local ISO teams and requests from other hubs


Qualifications

 Minimum Requirements:





  • Bachelor's Degree in a related business concentration (Supply Chain, or equivalent) required

  • Minimum 2 year experience, preferably in pharmaceutical environment 

  • Broad understanding and knowledge of applicable business processes

  • Strong English communication skills written and verbally

  • Solid oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

  • Capable of working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders

  • SAP and MS Office experience (with strong Excel skills) are preferred

Additional Skills:

  • APICS CPIM or CSCMP certification is an advantage

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to communicate, collaborate and influence

  • Ability to think End-to-End when analyzing problems and resolving project conflicts

  • Willingness to be flexible and to work in a rapidly changing environment

  • Teamwork and collaborative focus

  • Attention to details and accuracy focus
