We are looking for a DevOps (Enabling) Engineer for a brand new HR solution. Be part of a dynamic, international team and create products that will ‘wow’ our customers located at our headquarters St. Gallen or at one of our other locations.


As a DevOps (Enabling) Engineer, your functions will be:



  • Write automation code to build scalable, reliable and secure cloud infrastructure

  • Act as engineering liaison between DevOps, customers, sales, web development, product management, QA and other groups

  • Set up infrastructure, tools and framework to streamline the development cycle

  • Spread and seed DevOps best practices across our company


Requierements:



  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent work experience.

  • 3+ years of experience on enterprise-level Linux system administration. Significant experience on design and configuration of continuous integration and deployment tools such as Ansible, Docker, Jenkins (Groovy), Kubernetes, Git

  • Knowledge and experience with Apache Kafka would be very valued.

  • A good understanding of mixed architecture public and private clouds, mixed VM and Kubernetes deployments. (Infrastructure as a code. Application deployment automation.)

  • Strong networking, security, scripting (Bash), log analysis skills and systems performance skills.

  • Good understanding of web application architectures (web servers, relational/non-relational databases, caching tiers, fault-tolerant design).

  • Professional certifications are welcome but not mandatory.

  • Professional level of English is a must.

  • Solid communications – even remotely -, team working and interpersonal skills, as you will frequently work with other technical and non-technical partners as a representative of our organization.

  • Multitasking, stress tolerant, pro-active, methodical and innovative working practice, good time management.

  • From time to time, travel between different office locations.
