Our Security team brings together international security expertise. We provide strategies, concepts, guidelines, methods and security services across the DIA Group to continually improve the protection of customers, business partners, assets and information. In addition, we assume a key role in the transfer of security know-how within the Group.

For this networking, you require passion and an open mindset – because you need to bring along a feel for future Cyber Security technologies and market trends, which you will help us to analyze.


As a Senior Product Cyber Security Expert for managed Pre-Market Cyber Security, your main responsibilities will include to:



  • Coordinate and drive the necessary initiatives within the Diagnostic Division to achieve the integration of Cyber Security aspects in the development of new products and in the update/upgrade, maintenance and support of existing products.

  • Coordinate closely with relevant functions of the Diagnostics Business Areas, Global Functions and contracted solution providers to support Divisional Cyber Security goals.

  • Define and propagate processes in the areas of Cyber Security to enable continuous compliance of product development and maintenance processes.

  • Provide training and consulting on defined processes to enable business partners in delivering compliant products in the area of Cyber Security.

  • Keep abreast of regulatory and other significant changes within the Cyber Security domain as they relate to our existing or future products. Support participation of Roche Diagnostics in industry standardization organizations.

  • Support Cyber Security related Product Risk Management activities, including risk identification, risk rating, selection and verification of risk mitigation and assessment of residual risks.

  • Support identification, rating and remediation of Cyber Security related Business Risks related to Products.

  • Support and initiate IT Security architecture and design for secure products.

  • Support planning and execution of 3rd party review activities (Verification & Validation) related to Cyber Security and Software Architecture.

  • Ensure responsive high-quality service delivery for offered services on negotiated timeline and content.

  • Support our partner & vendor management activities by providing security business knowledge and ensuring security requirements are integrated into contracting and procurement activities with our suppliers. ​


Who are you


As an ideal candidate, you possess a combination of a cross-disciplinary background in Software Development or Software Architecture and Application or Network Security. Furthermore, your profile includes the following experience and competencies:



  • A Bachelor or Master degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering or Software Architecture

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in IT Security and a proven background in at least one of the following domains: Software Development, Software Architecture, Network Infrastructure Management

  • An IT Security certification like CISA, CISM or CISSP is a plus

  • Fluent English, German would be an asset


You show great interest working in a Cyber Security Team and exchanging experiences and expertise.


The role is headquarter-based in Rotkreuz (Switzerland), involving travel (up to 10%) and having a strong interface with different Business Areas and our Roche local affiliate companies.
