The Basel Branch Roche Diagnostics International, Diabetes Care employs over 100 people and is the head quarter of the business unit Diabetes Care. As a world leading supplier of system solutions for patients with Diabetes, the products provide health information to medical decision makers pivotal for early identification, diagnosis & monitoring. The Intercompany Supply Chain acts as central interface between global sales organizations and suppliers and ensures a smooth process in terms of order and invoice flow.



Job Facts:


Regulatory Labeling(product information)department, within Regulatory Affairs Function at Roche, leads and supportsproduct teams on the overall development, optimization and implementation ofregulatory labeling strategies and activities for the entire product life-cycle. Thisdepartment is responsible for developing and maintainingcompany Core Data Sheet (CDS)and local product information in EU and US marketsfor medicinal productsfrom Roche, and for guiding andsupporting the implementation of CDS at country level. CDS is the reference prescribing information for all local product information for Roche products.As an intern in ourdepartment,you willbeofferedan excellent opportunityto combine your scientific knowledgeandleadership& communicationskillstogethands-on work experienceinregulatorylabeling.



During the internship you will:



  • Support the planningand managementofCDS and product information in EU and US markets.

  • Actively assist in the preparation ofthese product information documentsunder the mentorship ofan experiencedmember of our staff.

  • Support the implementation of CDS into local country product information.

  • Interactwiththeglobalproductteamsand country affiliates, or participate team meetings,toenable your work.


You will learn during this internship:



  • Aboutthe many aspects ofhow product information is developed and maintained throughoutproductdevelopment and maintenance life-cycle.

  • About the many aspects ofdrug development.

  • AbouttheRegulatoryprocessesthat must be fulfilled to bring medicines to patients.

  • About RegulatoryHealth Authoritiesworldwide and howRocheinteractswith them.

Who you are

You are currently enrolled at university in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field.


 


Moreover you are/have:



  • Passion forlearning about drug development and drug regulatory affairs.

  • Able to independently perform tasks assignedandresearchunfamiliartopics.

  • Excellentwritten and verbal communication skills.

  • Fluentin English (writing and speaking).

  • Minimum of a BSc in relevant science field, higher degree preferred.

Please note that non-EU/EFTA nationals have to successfully apply for a Swiss work permit themselves or provide us a certificate of mandatory internship form their university.
