Our customer, a leading international pharmaceutical company with headquarters in Basel, is looking for a motivated
Associate Scientist / Laborant (m/w) protein analytics
In As part of a physical-chemical-analytical group within biologics technical development, you will be responsible for the routine analysis of biopharmaceuticals according to GMP.
Using various analytical methods (e.g. HPLC, CE) you will analyze peptides and proteins. This involves independently planning, performing and evaluation of analyses and ensuring that all the work is done according to GMP.
Your main tasks:
Design, perform and document scientific experiments (HPLC, electrophoresis, spectroscopy)
Routine analysis of proteins
Work and document according to GMP standards
Collaborate with your multicultural team
Take care of the maintenance of the laboratory equipment
Your background:
Apprenticeship, BSc or MSc or similar in chemistry, biochemistry or similar field
Experience analyzing proteins using HPLC or electrophoresis
Knowledge of GMP is a must
Adequate level of English (additional languages such as German or French are a plus)
Assignment start: asap
Assignment type: temporary
Assignment duration: planned until end of 2019 (chance for prolongation)
Workload: 100% (40h/week)
Workplace: Basel
