To reinforce the Procurement team of our Operating Company Nestlé Suisse SA, we are currently looking for a Local Strategic Buyer for Marketing Categories: Activation (Promotional Items), Trade Asset, Content (Creative and Digital Agencies, Advertising). Reporting to the Procurement Manager for Services and Indirect Materials, your main responsibilities will be to understand, communicate and execute the implementation of regional sourcing strategies on a local level; and to develop, communicate and implement sourcing strategies for locally managed categories. Key responsibilities
Proactively understand the business needs and requirements within the assigned categories
Carry out relevant data retrieval, analysis and representation required. Mapping how ordering procedures (P2P) and channels work within the businesses serviced, and identify improvements to be implemented
Create strong relations with Local Business Partners by providing information and requirements as well as understanding the strategies to be implemented. Keep them updated with the daily business and other relevant updates on a regular basis
Define and implement procurement strategies for the locally managed categories, utilizing the Strategic Sourcing Process tools
Perform supplier market analysis, category analysis and develop TCO understanding
Liaise with suppliers as required to help with any supplier development, or supplier switch out activities as directed by category and/or sourcing teams
Integrate innovation and post award cost improvement elements from suppliers into Nestlé’s innovation processes
Ensure compliance to Nestlé’s business principles, policies, standards and procurement policies
Ensure effective contract management follow-up activities are in place
Education and experience
Bachelor Degree
2 or 3 years of professional experience in a Marketing Agency or Procurement for Marketing categories would be a strong asset
Strong project management skills as well as excellent communication skills allowing you to adapt to your different stakeholders
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office especially in Excel
English mandatory. Fluent in French, German a strong asset
