Role purpose:


Quality inspection of medical devices (raw material, components and products)


Support the control of nonconforming products


Ensure the availability of raw material in conformance for the manufacturing process


 


Tasks and Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for ensuring raw material, components and finished goods in compliance with internal and external specification by performing inspections, evaluations and monitoring tests in products and process.

  • Accept or reject components / products lots based on established guidelines

  • Open and support the treatment of non-conformity reports

  • Performs varied product inspections of raw materials, components, semi-finished goods, finished goods or new products by observing, measuring and recording data.

  • Compare inspection results to defined requirements or specifications, and documents differences found (NCR).

  • Prepare inspection reports (routine and specific reports)

  • Enter data into log books or computer databases (log files and ERP)

  • Identify and segregate nonconforming products or lots.

  • Perform inspection with program (3D optical inspection machine)

  • Verify conformance of inspection tools before using


 


Your profile (Experience, Skills, Education):



  • x CFC degree in mechanical area or equivalent

  • French speaker, English speaker is an advantage

  • 2 years of experience in application of inspection tools: caliper, micrometer, comparator indicator, go/no go gauges, destructive / non-destructive tests

  • Experience with 3D optical measurement is desirable

  • Cleanroom behaviour knowledge

  • Computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)

  • Knowledge of 3D optical measurement is desirable.

  • Knowledge and application of ISO9001 and ISO13485

  • Good communication skills

  • Rigorous, Team worker

  • Hands-on, Sense of urgency
