Our customer, a leading international pharmaceutical company with headquarters in Basel, is looking for a
Associate Scientist Bioanalytics
We are looking for a motivated associate scientist to perform bioanalytical experiments (i.e. cell-based bioassays, ELISA and Q-PCR) for quality control of the development and commercial production of biotech drug substances and drug products. You will work in a cross-functional team in a cGMP environment. Analytical method validation/transfer will be also part of this position.
Your main tasks:
Perform routine release bioanalytics according to GMP (ELISA, qPCR, cell based-bioassays)
Validate and transfer bioanalytical methods
Provide raw data documentation, evaluation and results interpretation. Provide input for the selection of next experiments
Collaborate with other laboratory associates, facilitate efficient performance of planned analyses within your team
Your background:
Apprenticeship or BSc in cell biology and/or biochemistry
Work experience in the industry using cell-based assays, ELISA, qPCR and cell is a must
Experience in working under GMP is a must
You enjoy working in an international team
Fluent in either English OR German
Assignment start: asap
Assignment duration: until the end of 2019 (with possibility for contract extension)
Workload: 100% (40h/week)
Workplace: Basel
