The Lifecycle Team SWA Systems is committed to serve the markets by:
expanding continuously the installed base of cobas SWA solutions
strengthening a close and successful collaboration with the regions and countries
successfully developing and launching cobas SWA solutions
managing and strengthening the partnership with Hitachi High Technologies
Key responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):
Drive and communicate the vision and strategy for Roche MassSpec
Mobilize the cross-functional team across departments and functions in CPS and Roche Diagnostics, to establish and pursue common goals, achieve cross-functional team spirit and deliver benefit for patients in MassSpec
Align the development roadmap together with Lifecycle Leader (LCL) and Project Leader (PL)
Serve as the global business function lead on the Lifecycle Team (LCT) and head the International Business Team (IBT), with responsibility for all content / agenda / deliverables
Lead the team of International Product Managers responsible for the MassSpec portfolio
Promote a thought leadership mind-set and a culture of innovation
Enable creation of succinct, compelling, patient-centric and evidence-based value propositions for the Roche diagnostic solutions in MassSpec
Ensure implementation of the commercial strategy in close alignment with regions/affiliates
Ensure that updated and high-quality business cases and business plans for all MassSpec investments are in place
Identify and evaluate commercial attractiveness of new and innovative market opportunities in the MassSpec field, based on analysis of medical need as well as market, customer and competitive data. Ensuredevelopment of marketing and market access strategies for these opportunities.
To be successful in this role, your profile includes:
Strong Leadership skills, consistently demonstrating the Roche Leadership Commitments
PhD or Master’s (MSc) degree in biosciences, ideally combined with an MBA
At least 5 years of sound marketing and sales experience and/or clinical development experience in the Healthcare industry (ideally Diagnostics) on a local, regional or global level is required
Ability to lead interactions with senior internal stakeholders, including senior leadership in regions and affiliates
Ability to successfully lead cross-functional matrix teams, building vision and strategy, driving and influencing others for results
Proven track record of strategic agility and ability to make decisions in complex and ambiguous situations
As you are dealing with various international partners, fluent English skills (spoken and written) and cultural empathy are a must
You should be a proactive, reliable and energetic starter and finisher
Should be willing and able to travel (approx. 25%)
