For our Global Customer Support (GCS) department, we are looking for a Functional Lead for our Coagulation / Hematology / Urinalysis products.


Global Customer Support is the global organization responsible for technical services in the Roche Diagnostics Division. More than 500 co-workers at various locations around the world provide support, training and information to local and regional service & support representatives.


In this position you will, as a subject matter expert, represent Global Customer Support on Coagulation / Hematology / Urinalysis to the Business Life Cycle Team (LCT):



  • Act as primary point of contact between the LCT and GCS

  • Assist LCT for Product Development;

  • Ensure early involvement of GCS for optimal design for service ability

  • Coordinate with GCS department leaders on the provision of sufficient and appropriately trained GCS resources to projects

  • Support GCS Project Leaders in Service Requirement management

  • Drive Technical Service Cost optimization for the LCT in collaboration with Technical Product Managers;

  • Consolidates Service Costs for all platforms under the Functional lead responsibility and uses to drive actions based on the evolving service costs after product launch

  • Ensure that Service KPIs are aligned with LCTs, communicated and acted upon

  • Support GCS departments;

  • Provide accurate and timely input from the LCTs for budget prioritization

  • Align on goal-setting with LCT and GCS Department Leaders concerning product launches and product care

  • Contribute to the execution of strategic and operational plans for assigned Life Cycle teams.

  • Escalate open issues from GCS to Project Leader and if required Lifecycle Leader (for matters impacting time, cost performance and other key metrics)

  • Identify and align on LCT specific projects/initiatives with an appropriate time allocation


Qualifications:



  • University degree or higher in Natural Science (e.g biology, chemistry) or professional education in a medical technology area (e.g. MTA)

  • Proven-track record of excelling in an interdisciplinary, cross-functional, international project teams in a matrix environment

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills as well as fluency in English

  • Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Experience in project management, planning and prioritization skills with ability to multitask and adapt in multi-cultural environment.

  • Experience / knowledge on Coagulation, Hematology or Urinalysis systems as a plus

  • 5 years’ experience in the Diagnostics industry in a support role as a plus.

  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%)
