Clinical Data Management (CDM) is a department within Biometrics consisting of various roles with the common aim of delivering quality clinical trial data to drive the decision making process and ultimately bring new treatments to patients.
We are truly a global team working together with colleagues in Asia, Europe and North America.
During the internship your tasks will include:
Support the Study Data Manager in maintaining oversight of all build, conduct and close activities for one or more studies, ensuring fit for purpose quality.
Support the Data Acquisition Specialist in their key activities: specifications, acquisition, loading and delivery of non-CRF data including IxRS, central laboratory (safety, PK, biomarkers), independent review facility and other data
Under supervised training and mentoring, gradually assume responsibility for agreed tasks
Contributes to sub functional working groups and initiatives
Shadow colleagues and gain a solid understanding of all roles in CDM
Complete a learning assignment and present the outcome to CDM management
Gain a solid understanding of GCP
You are enrolled in a Bachelor or Master program at a university preferably in Life or Pharmaceutical Sciences. You are highly motivated with an enthusiasm for learning and innovation.
Moreover you are/have:
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Good attention to detail
The ability to work well within a team
Able to demonstrate leadership qualities
An innovative mindset
SAS programming skills, experience on using Medidata RAVE System, Spotfire skills and/or experience on using/creating/verifying CDISC SDTM formatted datasets
