Hexagon Mining develops safety and automation systems for heavy vehicles used mainly in open-pit mining. Our solutions allow the safe operation of these complex machines in hazardous environments, reducing the danger to the operator. Our products integrate a variety of technologies including satellite navigation, digital radio, radar, cameras and sophisticated algorithms to improve vehicle safety. It employs approx. 100 R&D staff in several international locations.

Application Engineer Vehicle Automation (f/m)
(Baar, Switzerland)

YOUR MAIN TASKS INCLUDE:

• Active collaboration with Product Management, R&D and Services & Support teams to support existing products and development of new systems


• Organizing and managing testing and field trials before product release


• Gather the expertise and knowhow from R&D to create product documentation


• Providing product training and support materials for our worldwide sales and support network


• Liaise with customers and OEMs as the main technical knowledge broker


• Providing technical 3rd level support to our teams around the globe


• Contribute to the Life Cycle Management of our existing products
