The Swiss-based family owned company Bühler is a global, industrial solutions provider for processing foods and manufacturing advanced materials, contributing to food security and high energy efficiency.
Around 65% of the worldwide harvested grain is processed on Bühler mills, around 50% of all car taillamps or headlamps are getting metallized on Bühler machines. Every day, billions of people come into contact with Bühler technologies to cover their basic needs for foods, mobility, or communication.
For our three-year International Management Trainee Program we are looking for open-minded personalities with ambition and potential to start an international CFO career with Bühler on two starting dates at the beginning of the month in June or September 2019. In three challenging modules, one of which could be spent abroad, we offer young professionals and graduates a unique opportunity to acquire a profound insight into our international company’s business

Duties


  • Work side by side with our CFO in order to gain deep insights into the financial operations of an industrial business and gain first-hand business experience

  • Plan, implement and lead international Bühler projects with full responsibility, while developing and improving leadership as well as communication skills

  • Master entrepreneurial challenges by innovating and bringing a Bühler project into the business

  • Translate thoughts, ideas and wishes into business concepts and entrepreneurial projects

  • Analyze financial data, conduct cost and benchmarking analyses, create forecast models and identify investment opportunities

  • Participate actively in regular audits and recommend corrective financial action plans

Qualifications


  • Master’s or PhD degree in Economics/Finance with excellent grades

  • At least two years of proven work or practical experience (must)

  • Fluent knowledge of English and preferably other languages

  • Profound interest in the financial operations of an international company in the industrial field

  • Strong entrepreneurial drive, business sense and an understanding of financial principles

  • Ability to judge situations from an overall business perspective

  • Striving for innovative and viable solutions

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, multidimensional approach and customer-oriented thinking

  • Firm commitment for leadership and change management

  • Flair for foreign cultures, international exchange and other areas of diversity

  • Desire to learn and develop as well as inherent mobility and flexibility
