Clinical Science Leader
Cardiovascular
 
 
Responsibilities:

• Support the Global Clinical Leader in the implementation of the medical strategy of the assigned disease area


• Provide medical and scientific expertise with particular focus on Design Validation Plans, Clinical Utility and Clinical Performance studies in assigned disease areas


• Responsible for study design and study synopsis of Clinical Utility and Clinical Performance studies


• Member of a study team in Clinical Utility and Clinical Performance studies


• Responsible for translation of medical strategy plans to Clinical Development Plans


• Responsible for Medical Risk Assessments and Clinical Opinion statements


• Responsible for exploratory studies and studies generating Intellectual Property for DAST prioritized unmet needs in assigned disease areas


• Responsible for pre-launch Scientific Advisory Boards and interaction with Therapeutic Area Experts


• Responsible for review of safety information from clinical utility and clinical performance studies

• Natural science or medical degree (MD or PhD or PharmD) required


• Experience in developing strategic plans regarding new products and/or product offerings including medical utility, intended use, and clinical studies needed to gain agency approvals


• Experience in cardiovascular/metabolism disease area


• Multi-project-management, knowledge in biometry, electronic data processing and statistixs


• Ability to build and foster multidisciplinary global relationships, good communication skills


• Willing and able to travel 25%


• Excellent English skills
