The payment specialist in the private market controlling department is responsible for the daily capital call payments to the underlying investment managers and also maintain the related bank details. The payment process is managed by the LGTCP payment system, the payment specialist also need to understand the necessary system background.

Job Information

• Understanding of the notice contents (cash inflow, outflow or non-cash transaction) to determine the process type;


• Bank data and special payment management;


• SWIFT message monitoring and if necessary communication with the related banks


• Cash availability check with the deal team and controllers;


• Error case report to the controlling team head;


• Payment confirmation management in case of Secondary or Co-investment with the administrator and the deal team;


• Communication with the deal team, administration department and the controlling team required;


• Support of other daily assistant tasks (i.e. data management, investor query support, invoice issue, contact sheet issue, etc.).

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in finance or accounting;


• At least 2 years of experience in a payment department/treasury position;


• Excellent language skills in English and German is required;


• Team player, self-motivated with the ability to work independently;


• Naturally takes ownership and adheres to deadlines.
