With our international team, we provide advisory and audit specialist services in regard to financial instrument accounting and valuation at world-class clients. Your focus shall be on further developing and managing the financial instruments accounting topics and the involvement of the team as specialist at KPMG audit engagements. Location: Geneva, Zurich

Responsibilities & Profile


Your contribution to KPMG



  • Being responsible for financial instruments accounting topics as specialist on large audit clients but also at large advisory engagement

  • Actively lead and guide our team members in auditing treasury processes and financial instruments accounting

  • Being the liaison Manager for treasury and financial instruments accounting topics for our large audit clients throughout the year

  • Participate in our treasury innovation team to develop new technologies and solutions with regard to digitization; also with external partners and FinTechs

  • Management of complex projects in the treasury environment

  • Actively manage client engagements

  • Close involvement in our European Corporate Treasury network

 

This is what makes you successful



  • Successful Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration

  • Swiss CPA (or equivalent) is an asset but not required for this specialist role

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in financial instruments accounting at corporates or banks

  • Good understanding in financial instruments accounting such as IFRS 9 / IFRS 7 / IFRS 13 and an interest in further educate in these topics

  • Experience in leading employees and possibly smaller teams

  • Fluent in English and depending on the location (Zurich or Geneva), also good knowledge of French or German

  • Committed, extremely convincing and entrepreneurial personality
