The Foundation for Research on Information Technologies in Society (IT’IS), Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG) and ZMT Zurich MedTech AG (ZMT) are currently seeking applicants for the joint post as:

 

Senior RF Engineer

 

The IT’IS Foundation, SPEAG and ZMT, the three members of the Zurich43 alliance, are looking for a creative and highly-experienced radiofrequency (RF) engineer to complement their R&D team in the development of novel and advanced RF solutions.

Your challenges:

• Leading our microwave think tank of CEO, CSO, project leaders and R&D engineers


• Guiding R&D projects of different sizes/ with various goals


• Developing Quality Assurance procedures and performing internal and external audits


• Providing technical customer support across the entire product life cycle and training of employees


• Working within international research consortiums and tutoring PhD students


• Taking ownership of prototyping, feasibility studies and concept developments for the technical and commercial success of our products and research projects

Your strengths:

• PhD or Master in electrical engineering or equivalent


• Vast experience in RF hardware design (min. five years)


• Widespread experience in RF measurements (min. five years)


• Knowledge in electromagnetic modeling advantageous


• Strong sense of responsibility and high quality standards


• Team spirit, management qualities, innovative, self-motivated, solution orientated, able to work efficiently under pressure


• Readiness for occasional business trips


• Fluency in English
