Corporate Development is advising senior leadership of Credit Suisse on all key strategic and M&A matters. We support the definition of the Group long-term strategic priorities and execute key cross-divisional strategic projects. The team is responsible for sourcing, evaluating and executing acquisitions and divestitures globally, based on Credit Suisse’s strategic priorities.

You the chance to gain extensive experience managing non-organic growth initiatives and executing M&A transactions as principal
You to work on financial analysis and company / business valuations
You to support with the identification and / or assessment of acquisition / divestiture opportunities and prepare investment proposals / memos
You the possibility to help shape the long-term strategic direction of the Group and focus on solving cross-divisional problems with direct ownership of key modules, and actively participate in problem solving sessions with senior management
You to contribute to proactively identify issues and suggest alternative solutions or approaches to strategic questions raised by our businesses

You Offer
You offer:
A completed master's degree from a university with demonstrated outstanding academic performance
3 to 4 years of relevant experience preferably in M&A / corporate finance and/or strategic / management consulting
Experience in managing workstreams and/or projects in the field of corporate finance/M&A or the area of strategy / management consulting
Profound knowledge of financial services industry
A desire to work in a high-energy environment with a dedicated commitment to excellence
An ability to work as a team player and proactively create value for our team
Highly motivated and proactive attitude and the ability to work under time pressure
Strong communication and interpersonal skills combined with multi-tasking and time management abilities, which allows you to quickly gain trust and build up solid working relationships when collaborating with senior management
A problem-solving mindset with a positive, emphatic personality, can-do attitude and an ability to handle multiple challenging priorities and assignments
Very good working knowledge of MS Office (in particular Excel and Powerpoint)
Fluency in English. German is not required, but would be an add-on
