In this position you are reporting to the County Manager Switzerland (solid line) and the VP Communications of RUAG Space (doted line). We are looking for a person with high affinity for the everyday operational communications, whilst also being able to drive and develop the communications function in the country.

Your responsibilities



  • Driving communications for RUAG Space in Switzerland (and associated sites) and operating as country communication manager (40%).

  • Planning and implementation of internal communications (incl. messages, Intranet, staff briefings)

  • Corporate and staff events

  • Regional stakeholder communication & representation (incl. guided tours, representative events, employer branding measures)

  • Marketing communications (incl. support for newsletters, fairs/exhibitions)

  • Advisory of the RUAG Space Switzerland management on all communication related aspects

  • Contribution to group and/or division-wide communication initiatives on an international level

  • Furthermore, the role includes significant support of international communication operations on RUAG Space division level (60%). Responsibility for annual communication plan across the entire division (incl. topics, events, exhibitions)

  • Support of PR activities on a global level (incl. press releases and social media content)

  • Content and picture management for Internet and Intranet presence

  • Development of divisional communication material (e.g. presentations, brochures, films)

  • Editorial contribution to international staff magazine


Your profile



  • University degree in communications (or comparable subject)

  • 5+ years of experience in external, internal and/or marketing communications

  • Advanced writing skills; experience in corporate copywriting and editing

  • High affinity for both print and digital communication

  • Good project management capabilities, structured work approach, and high-quality standard

  • Interest in technology topics; ideally even experience in a similar industry

  • Excellent English and German; ideally also a good level of French

  • Basic layout and creative design capabilities are an advantage
