Cyber security analyst

Mission


Pictet’s Security Operations Center is looking for a motivated, self-starter, skilled cyber security enthusiast, to join a team of five security analysts. You will join the Tech&Ops Division and work in a new and challenging department where cyber security is of prime importance. As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be able to make a strong contribution towards improving team’s tools and systems, and at the same time use them as part of operational shifts. This position offers a great opportunity to perform a large variety of tasks and participate in interesting projects.


 


Responsibilities



  • handle security alerts and incidents.

  • perform operational tasks which are part of the team’s mission (including regular controls and dashboard reviews, data loss prevention cases, mail releases and security exception approvals).

  • perform threat hunting, anomaly detection and scenario-based log analytics on Pictet group logs.

  • contribute to the vulnerability assessment initiative (perform analysis, prioritise vulnerability scans and software package analysis results).

  • contribute to developing and documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs) and incident handling playbooks.

  • develop and maintain tools, dashboards or reports that will allow existing tasks to be automated or optimised.

  • contribute to projects to upgrade the SOC toolset.

  • help to provide 24/7 on-call cover (rotating).


Profile



  • Experience of information and network security concepts, Windows and Linux environments, intrusion detection systems, SIEM and data analytics, vulnerability scanning and forensics tools.

  • Experience of scripting (e.g. Powershell and Python), automation (Puppet and Ansible) or big data analytics.

  • Diploma or certification in Information Technology or Information Security, or relevant work experience in the field.

  • Very good command of French and English (written and spoken).

  • Main residence in Switzerland mandatory.

  • Very good analysis and risk assessment skills, strong capacity to withstand stress and ability to multi-task.

  • Ability to make decisions quickly and to justify them; excellent organisational skills, methodical and discreet.

  • Strong team player, eager to share information with colleagues.
