The Swiss-based family owned company Bühler is a global, industrial solutions provider for processing foods and manufacturing advanced materials, contributing to food security and high energy efficiency.
Around 65% of the worldwide harvested grain is processed on Bühler mills, around 50% of all car taillamps or headlamps are getting metallized on Bühler machines. Our global Project Execution team is seeking to hire a Lead Project Planner/ Scheduler with a wide range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

Duties


  • In-depth project planning and monitoring of international projects in accordance with the business guidelines

  • Development of an integrated project schedule including all phases of international plant construction projects from inception to completion to indicate activities, relations, milestones, resources and durations

  • Project reporting for the project team and project management incl. progress curves, earned value and critical path analyses and evaluation

  • Regular updates of the project schedule creating forecasts, measuring progress and maintaining baselines

  • Supervision of complex cross business schedules and junior planners

  • Occasional site visits to define project baselines and conduct progress reports and follow-ups

  • Advisor to the Project Manager and Site Planner on developing a comprehensive site schedule

  • Coordination of all scope owners towards an agreed Master Time Schedule in line with the contract requirements

  • Conduction of progress monitoring meetings with all project participants

  • Project presentation to the customer regarding all planning matters

  • Support of the project and quotation team in gathering information from all required departments

Qualifications


  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field or certified Engineer

  • Several years of experience in project planning or project management

  • Fluent in English and preferably good command of a second language

  • Strong knowledge of Planning Software – Oracle Primavera, Microsoft Project of advantage

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite especially Excel and Power Point

  • Strong skills in gathering, analyzing and reporting information

  • Ability to work in a highly structured and organized manner

  • Team spirit and well-developed communication skills as well as the ability to work within an interdisciplinary environment

  • Proactivity, high motivation and flexibility, independent work manner

  • Readiness to travel 25% according to project requirements
