Footwear Designer
Job Description:
You will work within our cross-functional team to create products from concept to realisation and produce running footwear designs that advance Scott’s design image, product performance and innovation. You will also create seasonal stories in colours, concept solutions to product briefs and collaborate with our team to ensure design feasibility.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional skills in ideation, sketching and visual presentation, as well as possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities must be performed under fast-paced conditions, so the candidate must be able to multi-task and prioritize. The ideal candidate is a runner and leads an active lifestyle.
We expect:
- Track record within premium sport brands
- 3-5 years of work experience- Degree in Footwear or Industrial Design (or equivalent)
- Passion for contemporary sports, fashion culture and trends
- Demonstrated footwear design skills, including drawing/sketching, ideation, colour and proportions, visual presentation and layout- Excellent technical knowledge of performance footwear construction, materials and human factors
- Experienced in creating technical packs and detailed explanation for development
- Proficiency with Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
- Fluent in English, knowledge in German or French
