Customer Experience (CX) Specialist - Customer Research

What you will do

Johnson Controls has several customer feedback programs in place to help the organization understand our customer needs and how well we are delivering on those needs. These programs span comprehensive, annual relationship studies and brief, event-triggered transactional surveys. 

This role will help manage, administer and support these 40+ studies by orchestrating outside vendors, internal business partners, IT and the department Director. The candidate needs to be very organized, possess strong interpersonal communication skills, and have experience managing and supporting medium complexity enterprise projects or programs. The candidate is comfortable analyzing and deriving insights from data.  


This a unique opportunity for an accomplished Analyst to transfer their skill set into the world of Customer Insight. Experience in Customer Research programs is a big plus.


How you will do it


Program Management• Work closely with outside vendors and internal business stakeholders to administer  and maintain the assigned relationship and transactional study programsManage vendor relationships tied to assigned programs, ensuring adherence to agreed on KPIs and SLAs• Own the program communication strategy and cadence to drive awareness of the scheduled program activities, gather the support required to successfully conduct those activities, grow program momentum, and ensure smooth initiative rolloutsEnsure program health through proactive regular communication with vendors and internal business stakeholders• Oversee and manage program health KPIs including budget, on-time delivery, program adoption, and program performanceIdentify opportunities and make recommendations for continuous program improvement• Work with IT to ensure regulatory compliance for security processes when handling and sharing program data


Data Analysis• Conduct exploratory analysis of collected customer survey data to build analysis, metrics and business cases to support decision-making• Identify key customer trends, issues, and opportunities• Translate data analysis into simple visuals, dashboards or infographics• Propose enhancements to survey design, processes, and methodology to improve data quality


What we look for

• Minimum of 3 years of professional-level experience in analyst roles• Experience with customer research or customer experience initiatives is preferredDemonstrable experience managing and delivering medium complexity projects• Experience working with cross-functional, global teams is preferred• Expert user of data analysis software – able to understand and manipulate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources• Experience with data visualization (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI), is preferred• Organized and structured, with the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities• On occasion, able to work outside of regular business hours to support global operations• Travel Required: Less than 10%
