MISSION


You will work hand-in-hand with the business, providing them with essential reports and data analysis to allow them to complete monthly closing and budget activities. You will interface on a local and international level to manage reporting and analysis requests from the Corporate office, and you will support Sales reports analysis with intercompany and 3rd party partners. Finally, you will use your IT savvy to support use and maintenance of IT programs and ad hoc queries involving data extraction and handling.


 


MAIN RESPONSIBLITIES



  • Provide business partners with report data allowing them to complete budget and forecast exercises

  • Support Cost Center spending analysis

  • Participate in monthly closing process

  • Compile Inventory valuation and Turnover reporting: metrics analysis including analysis of monthly RM, WIP and FG levels

  • Evaluate Inventory review of excess, obsolete and slow moving for purposes of monthly reserve calculation

  • Compile Inventory adjustment and Scrap reporting and analysis

  • Compile Purchase Price Variance Analysis; Production Volume, Manufacturing Variance

  • Perform Adhoc Analysis Hyperion reporting

  • Compile quarterly or annual cost center spending

  • Perform strategic calculation of projected manufacturing variance

  • Oversee the annual calculation of standard costs in ERP

  • Manage correspondence with US Corporate Finance with queries on submission & requests: (i.e. comparison of spending to prior year)

  • Support Daily & Monthly Sales reports (intercompany and 3rd party) analysis versus forecast or budget

  • Manage ERP Data Maintenance

  • Support use and maintenance of IT programs/ad hoc queries, for data extraction from the ERP tables or databases (i.e VBA, SQL, ATLAS, other)


 


PROFILE



  • Bachelors’ degree in Finance or Economics or equivalent

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a multinational manufacturing company; experience with costing or manufacturing accounting

  • 2-3 years’ experience with Hyperion Oracle System

  • Strong proficiency in automated accounting and reporting systems (SAP, Microsoft AX)

  • At least 2 years’ database management experience (SQL)

  • Good programming capabilities in Excel VBA etc.

  • Proficient in automated accounting and reporting systems (AX and Hyperion preferred)

  • Excellent communication skills in English (C1/C2) and French (B1/B2)

  • Strong drive for results, accountability and integrity

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes

  • Solution-oriented with strong analytical skills
