MSD is recruiting a Connected Channel Program Lead, who will represent and lead MSD in its global blockchain consortia activities through a small cross functional team. He or she will develop the corporate strategy, business case and approach to connect the players in the pharmaceutical external supply chain, including wholesalers, distributors, regulators, payers, healthcare professionals and patients. On top, he or she will utilize cutting edge blockchain and database technologies and will develop external partnerships with the before mentioned players and other industry partners in order to promote and create an environment of co-operation and collaboration to meet the “Connected Channel” goals of the MSD digital strategy.
Accountabilities include but are not limited to the following main tasks:
• Create breakthrough strategies which generate legitimate value. • Adopt high quality change practices with Partner and internal Stakeholders, building and implementing sustainable solution embodying the MSD Standards and Compliance• Ensure that every partner relationship is established with intent of future continuous improvement• Work in a way that positively engages internal Stakeholder using problem solving and transparency• Understand the financial implication of single projects
Qualifications
• Master’s in Science/Bachelor of Science in field such as Computer Science, Economics, Business Management• Minimum 15 years’ experience in Life Science Data Services with strong focus on Supply Chain Partnerships• Possess demonstrated strong commercial and leadership including networking coaching and development, performance management, motivation, communications and negotiations.• Possess demonstrated enterprise thinking and collaboration with internal & external Partners • Qualified/experience in Agile project methodology, general project management and organization skill set• Deep understanding of Data Management Technology and working knowledge of block chain technology, architecture, integration with associated Change Management skills.• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.• Knowledge of sales, marketing and big data analytics.• Knowledge of EU GDPR & Falsified Medicines Directive• Practical approach with a “can do” attitude, ability to make fast decisions in an ambiguous and dynamic environment. • Professional English Language skills verbally and in writing.• P&L and financial control for respective projects • Experience working independently and collaboratively within a geographically distributed environment with extensive global travel• Functional background and knowledge of sales business processes. Experience in Life Sciences would be of advantage
