Global Digital Intelligence Lead

What will you do:


As you enter a mature organization, with a new vision for the future you will be responsible for the end to end Direct Procurement processes, that include category and supplier relationship management , sourcing, contracting, sustainability and risk management, master data and reporting, digitization and data/ science/ business /market intelligence. By leveraging the skills, know-how and capability of the Digital Intelligence team you will access, analyze and translate internal/external data to support strategy development and decision making.  Therefore you can ensure you have the best in class approach to data/business analysis.


Your accountabilities:



  • Ensure optimal service delivery (end-to-end Capability service scope, prioritization and governance accountability)


  • Benchmark best practice ( within and outside of Roche, driving best-in-class capabilities, business process and tool solutions to maximize value delivery)


  • Ensure proper alignment with  Procurement leadership vision


  • Drive Direct Procurement’s digitalization strategy


  • Ensure harmonized service delivery (definition of harmonized processes, master data and solutions for all Roche procurement activities)


  • Ensure synergetic development and implementation of processes and tools together with Global Procurement.


  • Set Capability Team goals and manage to target (annual performance goals for the procurement processes that are derived from organizational goals)


  • Set requirements and provide oversight


  • Accountable for risk management and mitigation in Data Intelligence team


  • Lead issue resolution


  • Identify and manage overall Program Management team budgets needed to support the annual operating activities


  • Define documentation and knowledge sharing framework


  • Lead capability team and ensure professional development



What you bring:



  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree


  • 10+ years strategic and operational experience (mainly in Procurement)


  • 7+ years process management specific experience


  • 5+ years leadership experience


  • Stakeholder, influencing / management and negotiation skills in a global environment


  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of the interface between Procurement and Finance processes and IT applications


  • Project / program management experience in complex setting and  process based mindset focused towards driving continuous improvement


  • Ability to influence and challenge the status quo


  • Emotional intelligence, active listening and coaching mindset


  • High degree of dedication, motivation and ability to work under pressure


  • Ideally Lean Six Sigma Green, Black or Master Black belt certified


  • English fluency
