About the role

We are looking for a Pricing Manager, Corporate Accounts to lead a team of pricing specialists and ensure a coordinated pricing of Cocoa customers with global agreements.  In this role close follow up on these customers, close coordination with the Trading Desk, Global Accounts commercial team, Global Cocoa Planning, Supply Chain and Customer Service as well as a sound understanding of the Cocoa market is required. The Pricing Manager will do the Cocoa Pricing for Key Customers with overall agreements; as well as will follow up on the contract execution and resolve issues in a pragmatic and independent manner.

Key responsibilities

• First contact person for Corporate Account Cocoa Customers on the execution of overall global long term agreements


• Manage a team of 2 pricing specialists


• Coordinate future and differential fixations with Customer and Trading Desk


• Work closely together with commercial team and senior management on strategic and commercial topics


• Work on different projects which require a sound cocoa knowhow (physical flows, hedging and pricing procedures etc)


• Resolve contracting/executing issues


• Negotiate on terms deviating from the agreement


• Coordinate on product availability, logistic costs, forecasted and contracted volumes


• Discuss strategy for market quotes


• Assist from a pricing perspective projects related to long term agreement customers

About you

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Economics or business related field


• Minimum 4 years of working experience. Experience in commodity sector and/or position/risk management, hedging is a plus


• Strong verbal and written communication skills


• High self-motivation, flexible and structured


• Strong analytical skills and stress resistance


• Costumer focused and Team player


• Fluent in English. German and/or French are nice to have


• Sound knowledge of Microsoft (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
