Job Overview


The role as Plant Controller (f/m) for our Plant in Steinach (Automotive Business Unit) reports directly to the Administration Director Switzerland and is closely partnered with the Site Manager and Leadership team.  The position must maintain collaborative relationships with all functions within the plant and with other Operations and Operations Finance Teams. 


Responsibilities



  • Prepare and deliver all financial information related with plant performance, including standard costs and hourly rate, CERs, cost improvements, in compliance with TE Financial manual policies and practices.

  • Material cost analysis and tracking as well as asset management and asset transfer

  • Forecasting, budget planning, and variance analysis for P&L and B/S accounts of the plant

  • Ensure to deliver right data and closely cooperate with legal entity controller for statutory earnings statement

  • Performing cost center control, including cost center accounting, cost accounting, cost savings review and tracking

  • Tracking and reporting of KPI’s (balanced score card) and permanent financial analysis with corrective actions initiated and follow-up

  • Provide service and support in terms of analysis and numbers for all the departments and all reasonable needs, e.g. conversion cost, productivity, or TEOA (TE Operative Advantage)

  • Ensure the SOX and Policy Standards and be first contact for the Audits (external and internal)

  • Track the action plans which are in place and initiate new ones if needed by triggering the Plant management and team with the appropriate analysis

  • Give heads-up to EMEA Management when needed

  • Fulfil special tasks, e.g. provide analysis of financial impact of decisions made in the plant, make or buy decision support, or post calculation

  • Coach the departments and the management team in terms of financial issues, the FCST process, and be first contact point for financial issues

  • Provide analysis and information to the local plant team to drive progress and improvements in all areas

  • Tool shop reporting and analysis, and capitalization of tooling projects
