Within the framework of the delegated authority, the incumbent is assigned all or part of the following responsibilities:
1. Support the Data Manager in consolidating data from different sources and processing data, using initiative to check entries to ensure that they meet high accuracy and data quality standards.
2. Process and update records, including data entry, scanning and filing of documents to maintain client records and archive systems in accordance with departmental procedure, policy and statutory requirements.
3. Assist in the development and application of standards, information technology tools and solutions for data integration and information sharing.
4. Check, analyze and validate data and assist the Data Manager by preparing statistical tables and charts for reports and technical documents.
5. Respond to data requests from the managers and counterparts in other work units and from technical units across the three levels of the organization.
6. Maintain up-dated and efficient data management system, tracking system, records and statistics and prepare periodic reports.
7. Perform other related duties including replacing and backstopping as required.
- Knowledge of the related WHO rules and regulations, procedures and practices.
