To reinforce the Logistic Transport & Customs Department of our Operating Company Nestlé Suisse SA we are currently looking for a Customs and Import Specialist.


As a Customs and Import Specialist, you will help us to standardize and streamline our processes and ways of working for import and customs activities in the Swiss Market.


 


Key responsibilities


 


Customs (75%)



  • IPR OPR process optimization (between Finance / Logistics and Corporate affairs), taking into account customs foreign trade and reserve Suisse aspects

  • Implementation of new ways of working with selected Brokers for customs clearance

  • Implementation of new ways of working with Customs Center of Competence (in Barcelona) 

  •  Further development and optimization of customs-relevant IT applications in cooperation with software providers and other stakeholders

  • Regular customs value verification / Customs declaration checks

  • Classification and determination of the goods origin as well as update of the Masterdata in  SAP


 


Import (25%)



  • Support to the team managing the  execution of the day to day Imports related activities (customs clearance, road & sea international transportation booking, etc) be it outsourced or in-house


 


Required Profile


 



  • Completed training forwarding clerk with advanced training or customs declarant (HF)

  • Extensive knowledge of technical and legal principles for IPR OPR  / Customs standards as well as the will to continue to develop the existing processes

  • Safe handling of the customs tariff including and preferential costing

  • Process and goal-oriented way of working; analytically and structured

  • Very good knowledge of SAP

  • Experience in order processing as well as import / export
