We are looking for a Contract Management Team Lead to join our global Legal and IP team in Glattbrugg, Zurich. In this position, you will head the Contract Management Team and lead the further implementation, roll-out and training for a newly introduced Contract Life Cycle Management software. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, your responsibilities will include the following:

• Lead the contract management team. Deliver and maintain high-quality contract management services to the Vifor Pharma organisation
  


• Lead the ongoing implementation and expansion process of Vifor Pharma’s Contract Life Cycle Management Tool on a headquarter and affiliate level as a project manager
  


• Provide subject matter expertise for Vifor Pharma’s Contract Life Cycle Management Tool as an administrator
  


• Ensure the quality and accuracy of Vifor Pharma’s Contract Life Cycle Management Tool and contract archives
  


• Maintain and update the Contract Life Cycle Management Tool in collaboration with relevant internal and external functions and vendors
  


• Create, execute, file, archive and administer all commercial contracts electronically
  


• Create and maintain contract records in the Vifor Pharma database, including the setup of notifications, alerts and reports to monitor the contract life-cycle
  


• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels to understand their business drivers and requirements and deliver appropriate contract management solutions
  


• Support and train users of Vifor Pharma’s Contract Life Cycle Management Tool, track and document training records and provide refresher trainings as appropriate
  


• Manage user access to Vifor Pharma’s Contract Life Cycle Management Tool
  


• Draft legal documents, in collaboration with the Legal Counsels, such as service agreements, amendment agreements, termination letters and confidentiality agreements

The ideal candidate has a commercial degree (or similar), demonstrates strong customer orientation, brings an affinity to technology and IT and in addition has the following skills and experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a contract manager in an international company, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
  


• Experience with administration/management of contract management systems, ideally Apptus, salesforce platform as well as DocuSign
  


• Experience with quality validation of software systems in a pharmaceutical environment and GxP requirements
  


• Project management experience
  


• Experience in team management would be an asset
  


• Good knowledge of MS-Office
  


• Previous experience working in an international environment
  


• Fluency in English (oral and written), fluency in German would be a great advantage, any additional language would be an asset
  


• Good understanding  of legal principles, particularly in contract law as well as compliance with applicable laws, regulations and industry guidelines
  


• Any additional legal training (CAS/DAS in Paralegal) would be an advantage
