Novimmune SA is a drug discovery and development company located in Plan-les-Ouates and Basel, Switzerland, that focuses on developing therapeutic monoclonal antibodies for inflammatory diseases and immune-related disorders.


The pipeline is a balance of preclinical and clinical compounds, specific for clinically validated and novel targets.  The company has been purposefully targeting a number of orphan drug indications, with the express hope of eventually providing safe and effective treatment options to some of the often neglected populations suffering from rare diseases.


Novimmune is currently seeking for an Analytical & Bioanalytical Technician in the Biopharmaceutical Development and Supply Department, to perform analytical and bioanalytical assays supportive of various activities from manufacture to formulation of antibodies.


Key responsabilities:



  • Organize and execute laboratory routine testing.

  • Interpret and deliver data with respect to the required level of QA-QC requirements (GDocP) / internal guidelines and whilst respecting timelines.

  • Involved in Quality control of data.

  • Assist with troubleshooting issues/perform investigations when necessary.

  • In charge of the laboratory upkeep: equipment, supplies and safety.

  • Draft Internal documents (e.g. operating method, report…).

  • Present results in internal meetings.


Skills and competencies:



  • Successfully completed apprenticeship or Bachelor studies in the field of biochemistry Sciences is required.

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in potency and immunochemical assays (e.g. ELISA, flow cytometry, SPR based assays) are required.

  • Experience in GLP, GMP-like environment in a pharmaceutical/biotech company is required.

  • A background in antibody manufacturing processes would be a strong advantage.

  • Good communication and organizational skills, proactive, conscientious and rigorous.

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast moving environment.

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team to plan and complete different studies in parallel, and in interface with different units.

  • Fluency in French and technical level in spoken and written English are required.

  • Quick availability preferred.
