We are recruiting on a temporary contract

Supplier Operations Development Engineer

Your Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be to manage supplier development focusing on subcontracting processes, covering raw materials to finished products and to ensure the deployment of their manufacturing and supply chain processes.

• Lead the contract manufacturing process by acting as primary point of contact during product industrialization, lead intern cross-functional team, deploy the logistics flow, ensure contractual agreement, support audit and control subcontracting operations performances


• Deploy secondary packaging, labelling, RFID technology solutions and ensure their integration in the manufacturing process


• Manage stock allocation, inspections and re-labelling


• Participate in program implementation, process re-engineering from procurement to distribution


• Assist in supplier's selection & qualification, develop and roll-out plans


• Develop and maintain performance metrics to enable quality and productivity improvements and reduce product risk opportunities


• Lead and support process analysis & improvements initiatives (using tools: Lean, Kaizen, 5S, JIT) across the whole supply chain from procurement to distribution

Your Profile

• Higher Degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent


• An expert working knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, APQP, Validation Programs and SPC processes in a highly regulated environment


• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a regulated environment working purely in supplier facing roles


• Experience of working in Medical device or Pharma industries


• Must understand the relationships and inter- dependencies of Internal functions (Manufacturing/Quality/Regulatory/Supply Chain/Finance)


• Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional team environments with a strong ability to build relationships and networks


• Fluent in English - French an asset
