Ihre Aufgaben

The OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) business with machine and instrument manufacturers is an important growth initiative within the general strategy of METTLER TOLEDO. It still offers significant growth potential, which shall be further developed in a systematic way. To strengthen our team in Nänikon, we are looking for an entrepreneurial Global Product Manager 100% (f/m/d).

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

• You are responsible for the product management and business development of weighing transmitters and for the improvement of the effectiveness of OEM and system integration channels 


• You will conduct trainings, support tools, documentations and ensure proper product positioning


• You are responsible for the product management (e.g. pricing, forecasting, development of product documentation and support materials) and for the whole life cycle management of the portfolio


• Further, you will monitor different product development projects, provide marketing representation to the management for the strategic direction and for the responsible product portfolio 


• Last but not least you will ensure a strong interaction with production and R+D organization in China

Ihr Profil

Following requirements are necessary for this role:

• You have one of the following degrees: higher technical school (HF), Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, Automation or Physics. An MBA degree or MS would be an advantage


• Entrepreneurial attitude in a technically and systems oriented business is essential


• Marketing or business management experience within a technical, industrial, or capital equipment field with specific areas of weighing / measurement, data collection / communications, or process control is preferred


• Four or more years of technical product or business management with channel / customer development experience would be a plus


• You have a good sense for business opportunities as well as entrepreneurial attitude combined with excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German, more languages are a plus


• Readiness to travel globally (up to 20%)
