Thermal Process Expert’s key role is to challenge and support the plant operations worldwide in order to strive for world class performance in the industry. This role plays an important role to:

Responsibilities

• Set key Technical KPI targets to achieve the lowest cost of production and also rolls out various cost initiatives & support


• Actively initiates the process of sharing the best practices, success stories and lessons learned across the plants, through Knowledge know-how platform


• Actively connects with the external agencies and suppliers to abreast with the new & modern technologies to swiftly adopt to our facilities


• Engage people in various levels to effectively implement the initiatives


• Able to pro-actively identify key potential areas for improvement and trouble shoot plant operations in Kiln, Mills, Refractory and AFR


• Able to support HLC implementation in Grinding & Pyro

Education/Qualifications

• Degree / Masters in Chemical Engineering


• 10-15 years of Industrial Experience, preferably in Cement Industry


• Work experience in plants will be added advantage

Experience

• As a Process Expert, should have the experience in atleast two of the areas in the field of Pyro, Grinding, HLC, Refractory, AFR & Environment


• Should have experience in troubleshooting problems related to plant operations


• Should have the coaching ability to Control room operators, Process Engineers in the plant


• Experience in plant operations and technical centre will be added advantage

Knowledge & Skills

• Developing SOPs for safe & efficient operations


• Experience sharing, Lessons Learned, Best Practices & knowledge database


• Generate self-learning e-training modules, tools and applications


• Data analytical skills & Root cause analysis

Language Requirements

Fluency in English
