System Engineer II - Wintel.

Want to be part of a large, fast paced, global environment with interesting challenges on a daily basis?  You’ll be responsible for the full systems life cycle maintenance & implementation of systems hosting the company’s mission critical applications.  You will have an opportunity to work with Windows servers, Active Directory, O365, and many other exciting technologies. 

Roles and responsibilities:

• Completes tasks within a defined timeframe.


• Ensure effective problem analysis and resolution in a timely fashion.


• Escalates issues when needed to appropriate levels of IT / business.


• Effectively solicits and gathers requirements (user, business process, performance requirements, etc.) from business users using appropriate mechanisms and following CSL standards.


• Translates business requirements and designs effective solutions. 


• Participates as necessary in the validation matrix role to independently test and validate solutions to ensure fulfillment of all business requirements, compliance of regulations and quality of solutions.


• Effectively follows global IT procedures and policies are followed consistently as defined by the Quality Management System.


• As assigned, conducts research and analysis on new and innovative solutions and considers their applicability to CSL Behring. Presents results/recommendations to IT management.


• Collaboratively works with internal employees, vendors and consultants to effectively implement solutions.


• Develops mutually productive relationships in the workplace and contributes to the team.


• Cooperates and acts as a team player and gains trust of peers.


• Collaborates with key business users to proactively communicate the status of ongoing and daily support and problem resolution.


• Provides on call support on a rotating basis as it relates to IT functional area.

Experience and qualifications:

• Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and Server 2016/2019.


• Roughly 4-6 years of relevant experience.


• Diploma/Degree in the field of information technology is advantageous


• Fluent English (both written and spoken)is required. German is a strong advantage


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, have the ability to provide leadership and mentoring, and work within a collaborative team environment.


• Knowledge in Office 365, Exchange, server patching, SFTP is a plus.
